Our process design with UHCAN
Identify Chasm
More than 46 million people go without health insurance in the United States (US Census Bureau, 2009)… that’s a startling 16% of Americans—and that is why we partnered with the Universal Health Care Action Network (UHCAN) in their effort to increase awareness about providing a basic level of health care for all of our people.
Create Change
We worked with UHCAN to completely overhaul their website, migrate hosts, and implement a new content management system. Prior to taking on the website development effort, we assisted UHCAN with their campaign to urge the citizens of this country to respond to the recommendations of the Citizens’ Health Care Working Group on making health care work for all Americans.
Amplify Success
Under a tight deadline, we developed a multimedia presentation for use in UHCAN’s newsletter and on their website (and when their webmaster had difficulty uploading the file, we hosted the movie on our own server). We also set up an account and uploaded the presentation to YouTube and submitted it for consideration at CurrentTV.
